The Korea Electronics Information & Communications Industry Association (KEA) announced that
it held the 7th Smart Innovative Home Appliances Awards Ceremony on the 11th at the Electronics Hall in Sangam-dong, Seoul,
where it presented Industry Minister’s Commendations to individuals who contributed to the development of the domestic smart innovative home appliances sector.
A total of nine individuals were honored, including Jin-gyu Jung, Senior Manager at Coway; Geun-young Baek, General Manager at Ceragem; Yoon-seop Lee, CEO of Garin System;
Yo-han Han, CEO of Dmillion; Sang-hoon Han, CEO of KellaWave; Min-soo Kang, CEO of Medical Solution System; Ho-yong Kwon, CEO of Saber;
Eun-seok Lee, Professor at Gachon University; and Ki-won Koo, Senior Researcher at the Korea Electronics Technology Institute.
Jae-young Park, Vice Chairman of KEA, said,
“The growth of smart innovative home appliance companies and the expansion of exports are key factors that will determine the future of Korea’s home appliance industry,”
adding, “KEA will continue to support companies so that they can stay ahead in the competition for on-device AI and data utilization technologies.”
